Further Praying for Strategy 112

Here are a few more items you can pray about as we leave for South Africa tomorrow.  

 

(1) Pray that we would wisely use our time on the 18 hour flight between Atlanta and Johannesburg – for rest, prayer, reading, reflection, and up-building conversation. It would be wonderful if we could turn what could feel like a tortuous day and a half of travel (South Bend to Barberton will be between 24 and 36 hours) into a fruitful time of spiritual refreshment and preparation.

 

(2) Pray for anointing and blessing on Russ, Phillip and me as we share our faith, teach the Word, and preach the gospel to students, pastors, and congregations.

(3) Pray especially that the twelve men we are adopting and training through Strategy 112 will be gripped this week with a passion for proclaiming the Word of God in such a way that their future lives and ministries will be forever changed.

 

I doubt I will be able to blog while away, but you might check back periodically, just in case. If not, I’ll be blogging again by September 7^th or 8^th.
