Beyond the Gates of Splendor

Drop whatever you are doing and go rent Beyond the Gates of Splendor, an excellent new documentary on the five martyred missionaries, Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Pete Fleming, Ed McCully, and Roger Youdarian, whose sacrifice changed the Waodani tribe forever. I watched this film last night and was moved to tears, it is SO GOOD! Also, be watching for a movie this January called End of the Spear, which tells the story of Mincayani, one of the killers, and Steve Saint, the son of Nate Saint. (A warning to parents: Beyond the Gates of Splendor is rated PG-13 for some violent images and native nudity).
